2014 – Rings!

Rings are often a personal and symbolic part of wedding day. As 2014 draws to a close, I wanted to share my 10 favourite rings shots from this year. Whether I’m at an engagement shoot or wedding, rings are one of my MOST favourite things to photograph!  Along with learning about their rings from brides, I also get to learn about any history and the story of their proposal. I love hearing about how it all comes together.

Each set of rings/wedding bands are so unique, and I try to capture that in each shot. I enjoy taking the time to set up the shot, finding a location usually with vibrant colour, repeating lines or some symmetry. All photos incorporate a part of a couple’s wedding day or engagement  – a sumach plant found along a hiking trail, a bright sunflower from the brides bouquet and more. Enjoy!
