Apple orchard engagement :: Mallorie + Josh

Earlier this fall I met Mallorie and Josh for their apple orchard engagement photos at Chudleigh’s farm. Chudleigh’s is a local apple orchard and farm located just outside of Milton on Highway 25. During the fall they have many varieties of pick-your-own apples, a petting zoo, and a storefront of delicious baked goods, ciders and more. We decided it would be the perfect location for Mallorie and Josh’s engagement photos. After a short hay ride, and somewhere in between the Mcintosh and Red Delicious, our session started.

With luscious greens and bright red apples, the orchard made for a super scenic location. I always love when couples choose to have an adventure engagement session and explore a new place. Within a few minutes of riding on the tractor and sitting on hay barrels, we quickly were reminded of trips to the apple orchard as kids. Walking up and down the rows, we decided to pick and shoot along the way – stopping when we saw just the right apple or photo spot. The awesome thing about apple orchard engagement photos….. you go home with fresh local apples! Mmm

Mallorie and Josh are a fun and laid back couple, who were up for anything.  After the apple orchard closed, we decided to head over to a local conservation area for a quick wardrobe change and a few more photos among the purple asters.

You can really feel love and warmth shared between Mallorie and Josh.  Thanks for a fun session and I’m looking forward to capturing your wedding this fall!
