With the start of the *slightly* warmer weather, I’m quickly reminded of one of my favourite weddings from last summer – Tracey and Matt.
With 50 of their closest family and friends Tracey and Matt tied the knot at Whitehern Historic House and Garden – a super gorgeous and historic venue in the heart of downtown Hamilton. In true comic book fan fashion, their wedding had a Green Lantern theme! (A popular comic book series of American super heroes who fight evil with the help of power rings)
The wedding party each wore a different colour of Converse, complemented by a matching power ring. The bridal party had power rings placed in their bouquet, while the groomsmen had power rings incorporated into their boutonnieres. Each ring and colour holds a different symbolic meaning, granting the wearer a special power. The bride wore purple converse to represent love, while the groom wore green to represent will power.
Tracey and Matt did an amazing job planning a wedding that truly represented their personalities and interests. I seriously loved all of the coordinating colours, unique details and most of all – their theme! Thank you for inviting us to capture your special day.
