Q. How long have you been a professional photographer?
I have been a photographer for 10 amazing years. After graduating from art school, I started capturing special moments for families in 2009, and I photographed my first wedding the following year. I have worked a variety of jobs in the photography industry over the past decade from a portrait studio, to lighting assistant and second shooting, all of which have helped me to gain valuable experience and grow as a photographer. In 2014, I decided to focus on capturing weddings and families full-time, and have been telling love stories ever since.
Q. How long does it take to get our photos back after the photos have been taken?
Wedding galleries are ready within 6 to 8 weeks. Family, engagement and lifestyle sessions are ready within 2 to 3 weeks. I like to make sure your photos have all been edited and retouched so you’re only getting the best quality to remember your special moments!
Q. What kind of photographer are we getting if we go with you?
Well, a fun one that’s for sure! I want you to feel comfortable with me so we can capture your wedding/engagement shots or maternity/newborn shots with the most natural feel. I also like to describe the images I take are candid, colourful, and bright. I love capturing the small and beautiful details that go along with the main shots.
Q. What kind of occasions do you do photoshoots for?
Q. What if me or my partner are shy in front of the camera?
I promise to be understanding. It can be a lot for anybody! But the engagement session should be a great chance for us to get comfortable and get to know each other. Come wedding day you two will be pros!
Q. How much do that packages cost and how many images will I get?
That depends on what kind of photos you’re having done:
Packages range from $2200 to $4500 depending on your wedding specifics, so contact me for a more precise quote today! Packages will include:
Private online gallery
Editing and retouching
USB of anywhere between 600-900 high-resolution photos (approximately 60 photos/ per hour of coverage)
Starting at $350
60-90 minute session
40-50 edited high-resolution photos
Q. What happens if it rains?
Bring an umbrella! Most romantic movies include at least one rainy/steamy scene right?! (cue THE NOTEBOOK!!!)
Let’s just embrace the rain, and remember that no wedding goes off without at least one hitch 😉! If it rains, we’ll find a way to manage, and it will certainly make for more magical photos. We’ll also chat about rain locations and back up plan.
Q. What happens if we have to rebook our wedding?
In these rare cases, give as much notice as possible so I can make sure your new date is going to work with our schedule. But my policy is that a 25% non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking. If your wedding date changes, the retainer can be used towards the new date or a future photography session (if I am already booked on the new date). Rest assured I’ve got your back, and we’ll get everything figured out with your new date.
Q. What if we want a destination wedding?
I’d love to come along! I did a destination wedding in Mexico in 2018 and it was one of the best experiences of my career! I can’t wait for the next chance to do a destination wedding! Let’s talk details and logistics…
Q. Do you shoot LGBTQ weddings?
Absolutely! I have done many LGBTQ ceremonies, and I encourage you to check out some of them in my blog section! Click here to see one now. Love is love, and I’d love to be there to help you capture the celebration of your love!
