Humber Bay engagement session :: Shannon + Neil
Today, I’m excited to share Shannon and Neil’s Humber Bay engagement session! Shannon and Neil are a fun and laid back couple, who I met in the studio at University. They wanted to incorporate some natural elements and the Toronto skyline into their session, so we met at Humber Bay park with bikes in tow to explore the trails. Shannon mentioned to me how they had worked with some amazing local Toronto businesses for their engagement ring and shoot outfits.

Why I love it: Picking an outfit for your engagement shoot can feel tricky. You want the outfit to stand the test of time, look good on from different angles and flow with your fiance’s outfit as well. Naked Red is my favourite store, located in the heart of Liberty Village. Daniella the store owner and clothing curator is fantastic. She always has amazing clothing that will fit just right from designers from across Canada. I knew I’d complete my outfit for the engagement photoshoot there.
Why I love it: I was looking for a non-traditional wedding ring that matches my personality and connects to me and my fiance as a couple. When I tried on this ring I knew it was it. I love the organic, asymmetrical setting with its amazing raw diamond in the center.
I’m looking forward to capturing their August wedding in a few short days… enjoy! 🙂
